Classic Goulash (Mac & Beef)



This is the classic side dish and it's very delicious. The recipe is simple and I'm sure kids will enjoy it as much as inviting your guest over, or just a date night. It's best served hot or you can eat it cold and it will still be as tasty.


Grocery List:

1 can of diced garlic and onion tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 box of Macaroni1 lb of ground beef
1 yellow onion
1 garlic

1 bottle of Italian seasoning
1 bottle of bay leaves
1 bottle of soy sauce
1 bottle of garlic salt
1 bag of sugar




Cooking Tools:
1 cutting board
1 skillet or frying pan
1 medium sized pot
1 pasta strainer



Ingredients:
2 cups of dry macaroni (half a box)
1 lb of ground beef
1/2 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped garlic clove



Ingredients for sauce:
1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz)
1 can of diced garlic and onion tomatoes (14.5 oz)
1/2 cup of water
1/2 chopped yellow onion
1 chopped garlic clove

1 table spoon of Italian seasoning
1 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of garlic salt
1 tablespoon of sugar2 bay leaves


Directions:
Step 1: Boil 3 cups of water.
Step 2: Cook macaroni for 15-20 minutes or until soften.
Step 3: Cook the ground beef in a pan until brown.
Step 4: Add chopped garlic and onion to the cooked beef and shimmer for 5-10 minutes.
Step 5: Strain the cooked macaroni.
Step 6: Cook the tomato sauce and diced tomato in pot.
Step 7: Place all the ingredients in after boil.
Step 8: Shimmer on low for 20-25 minutes.
Step 9: Remove bay leaves before serving.


Chop onion and garlic
Cook macaroni for 15-20 minutes
Cook ground beef
Break up the ground beef to cook evenly
Add chopped onion and garlic; shimmer for 5-10 minutes
Place all the ingredients into the sauce pan

Strain cooked macaroni
Add macaroni to sauce
Add beef and onion mix to sauce
Mix everything into the sauce
Shimmer for 20-25 minutes
